Keep Digging - 23 of 67

Thank you very much for all your suggestions for the contents of the box in last weeks update! I'm going to try and finish it this week, and may well be taking up one of your ideas! :D

Ugh, I am so sorry for the delay in posting this page. In the end, I only got it finished on Sunday, and I thought if I posted it then it would just get lost in the sea of Monday comic updates, so I decided I might as well wait until Thursday / Friday as usual. The police uniforms gave me some trouble despite it being a fairly basic page layout-wise - I did a whole bunch of internet searching, but there are probably still many mistakes in this.

I swear this story keeps finding new ways to stress me out. I suppose from the outside, the whole thing looks like a bit of a weird choice anyway. As in, let's just spend ages with this guy who doesn't talk much, and has virtually nothing to do with the main characters, and by the way it's pretty dark and there are almost no jokes. I dunno, I'm not saying I regret taking this story on - it's one I've been wanting to do for a while, and I feel like I'm learning from it (for instance, I've never done so many almost dialogue free pages in my life). It's just been rather outside my comfort zone, and continues to be so. Thanks for your patience while I continue to stagger through it. I'll get there in the end ...
